Internet regorge de pages Web comme celle ici bas, intitulée "The Most Powerful and Emotional Photographs of All Time", où on présente diverses images marquantes, avec une description.
Tout cela est bien beau et bien fin, mais problème il y a : des pages du genre sont bourrées d'erreurs. En voici quelques exemples :

Vraiment? En observant les pièces d'équipement du soldat, à commencer par son casque, il y a fort à parier qu'il s'agit en fait d'un soldat américain de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale.

La description accompagnant la photo :
"There may be no photograph which more accurately captured what familial life was like throughout the early 1940s in England. This boy, who escaped the firm grasp of his mother just to say goodbye to his departing father, is just one of many English children who grew up away from their fathers who were fighting on the front lines of WWII."
En fait, la photo a été prise en Colombie-Britannique, et les soldats sont canadiens.
En fouillant, je pourrais certainement identifier d'autres erreurs, et vous pourriez probablement vous aussi en découvrir, mais je ne crois pas qu'il en vaut la peine d'y consacrer davantage d'efforts.
